HealthTranslations.com serves as a repository of translated materials specific to health care and includes more than 650 translated documents and more than 70 resources for non-English speaking individuals. The site is unique because translated documents extend beyond the more common languages and dialects to the less common, such as Bosnian. 

Health providers struggle with challenges of patient literacy. Although non-English speaking patients may be fluent in their native language, some are unable to read. HealthTranslations.com includes “communications boards” with pictures of common health-related procedures, equipment and conditions with a description in English and the translated language. Communications boards are available in Arabic, Bosnian, Chinese, Russian, Spanish and Vietnamese.
